- Select a month: Rotate the inner ring to set the chosen month above the appropriate year.
- Find the year: Find the year you are interested in, in the range from 2020 to 2119.
- Check the day of the week: Read the day of the week on the outer ring by looking at the date setting.
- Leap Year: For leap years (italicized: Jan, Feb), an additional day in February should be considered.
For example, to find the day of the week for August 15, 2050, set August (AUG) above the year 2050, and then read the day of the week in the column for the 15th.
